Welder Fabricators Required Permanent Job up to £780 per week. (Exeter)


This is a great opportunity to work with our client who are an Established International Marine company based in the South West. Normal Hours 0730 1600. Overtime 0630 0730 and 1600 1800 Saturdays 0730 1230. Overtime is paid at flat rate. You will be entitled to Statutory Sick Pay and Four Weeks Holiday per annum. Carry out fabrication and welding operations using Mig &Tig processes to construct aluminium vessels in the marine product range. The welder fabricator is required to work to Lloyds quality standards set out in Work Orders and use specific technical expertise where necessary. The job holder will have technical responsibility for a particular aspect of the vessels construction. Take responsibility for assembling and welding frames structural members and the vessel shell plating in accordance with the processes referenced in the welding schedule and technical drawings. Operate fabrication machinery including bending folding machines guillotines pillar drills reciprocating saws and associated fixed fabrication machines. Competant in the use of fabrication workshop plant such as overhead cranes and lift aids laser alignment equipment Mewps and other associated equipment. Competant at carrying out post weld examinations (visual. The job holder will ideally have extensive industry knowledge and should be En Iso9606-2 En Iso15614-2 coded. The job holder will have completed a relevant welding fabrication techincal qualification or have completed a time served apprenticeship.The job holder shall be competant to carry out basic planned maintenance operations for the machines and equipment.
