Sous Chef (United Kingdom,Cornwall)


My client is a hotel located in a stunning position on the north coast of Cornwall they have a number of outlets including a fine dining restaurant brasserie and function suites. They have an award winning head chef at the helm and are looking to build on their already solid reputation by gaining more accolades. My client is looking to add a Senior Sous to the brigade. The position will involve driving forward the food standards in this busy kitchen where everything is made from fresh on the premises. At busy times the kitchen can be coping with up to 300 through a mixture of restaurant and function covers. The successful candidate needs to have had experience of managing chefs in either a Sous or Junior Sous position have a real passion for quality fresh food be capable stock control menu design and all other aspects of running a large kitchen and genuinely wants to work hard to develop their own experience through helping my client cement their reputation.
