Instore is a syndicated operation. We assign merchandisers to a grid (a small local territory) and then when work comes up in those grids we book the merchandisers to complete all of the work. Typically calls can be anything from 45 mins to 2 hrs in store depending on the nature of the activity. On Instore we call on Grocery outlets convenience stores or even garden centres depending on client needs. We use Salesforce to issue work to merchandisers who receive an email detailing the work and asking them to Accept or Reject the work from the email. This automatically updates the database to show they are booked (or not) to complete the work. Each week(Friday) the merchandiser is sent a summary email detailing the work they are booked to complete the following week. Paper briefs are sent out to the merchandiser with an activity sheet also detailing the calls for the week with any supporting material for their calls i.e. Reporting sheets promotional material. From time to time we may ask merchandisers to walk Pos into stores and this will be sent to their homes. There is a free phone number for merchandisers to call between working hours to check their calls ask any questions clarify the brief. We use telephone reporting (Teletrack) to report back results to the client and sometimes may even use web reporting. Activity We have a number of different campaigns happening at the moment which we are looking to recruit merchandisers for. The role would include Engaging with store staff Access store systems Ring through results on a free phone reporting number General merchandising and auditing work Merchandiser skills The merchandiser must have Great communication skills Good influencing skills Ideally some knowledge of stores and or planograms Ability to use initiative Email access Web access Mobile phone Pay Pay is calculated for all Instore activities undertaken and paid every 4 weeks (the next pay date is tbc due to fitting in with Christmas payroll. It is automatically calculated on receipt of reporting. If we do not receive the reporting in time we will not be able to pay the merchandisers as per out Ts and Cs. Pay is £8 per hour Mileage no mileage If the call is really remote and there are not people in the vicinity we can sometimes add a little extra as an allowance.
